Love Shawna's beachy, sunrise Qigong classes. Such a beautiful way to start the day; gentle life affirming words, mindful movement with other like minded souls, being outside while we give ourselves this nurturing practice. Afterwards, I always feel grounded, clear and alive.
Shawna's Qigong classes add a positive effervescence to my life. I thoroughly enjoy the guided visualisations for moving chi throughout the meridians of my body. Shawna conveys a strong sense of respect for the ancient techniques she teaches while sharing great insight for their therapeutic effects.
Since starting the practices, I find I feel stronger and naturally want to bend my knees when lifting things. I feel a steady mood of relaxation and don't tend to lose my cool around others so often. I also feel a sense of connection to the world around me and don't experience feeling loneliness so much.
I’ve been joining Shawna’s Qigong group every Thursday morning for about 8 weeks now. I absolutely love it.
Shawna has a beautiful calming voice as she talks you through and explains the benefits of each movement.
