Prior to learning Qigong, I suffered with debilitating anxiety, low self esteem and deeply rooted feelings of unworthiness. My internal world was a place of chaos, frustration, confusion and fluctuating moods. It was extremely difficult for me to have or maintain relationships as I was unable to connect with myself. Despite counselling, workshops and reading every book on self help, I was literally trapped within my trauma.
And then I tried Qigong and tai chi. The calming effect of Qigong is experienced almost immediately. I noticed my nervous system relaxing, my mind coming back into focus and my sleep improving. Within a month, I felt myself transformed. My anxiety eased, I learned to make genuine connections with others and began developing a sense of authentic confidence.
Nothing is a miracle cure. We must be willing to make the effort however, these practices changed my life so profoundly that I have dedicated myself to sharing them. Everyone is here because you are meant to be here. Life will have challenges for sure yet it is not intended to be continual struggle.
Self acceptance is the key to all lasting fulfilment yet so many of us wish we were anyone but who we are. When we learn to tap into our true nature, we develop a sense of reverence for who we really are. This naturally extends outward, offering us deep connections to life and others.
Life can be anything you want it to be when you are true to yourself.
