I am an accredited Tai Chi Wellness instructor (Australia Tai Chi Institute), professional writer, wellness advisor & published author.
Classes are fun, lively and life affirming. I infuse each session with mindfulness, including simple ways we may encourage our mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing in each moment.
Tai chi and Qigong are superb practices for fostering an innate sense of wholeness both internally and externally. They promote social activity and deep healing as we work together in a group setting.
There is no fitness level required. We always work to the physical capacity of the individual with the ultimate aim of becoming one with our own, innate, natural rhythm.
My courses have been specifically designed to be invigorating, stimulating, relaxing and fun. We practice outdoors with the understanding that we are an integral part of the universe. We receive a sense of the natural pulse of our environment, learning to attune ourselves through presence.

With a tai chi or Qigong workout, your energy pathways are opened, your internal organs start to work harmoniously as they are cleansed and your mind and body begin to perform in unison. This is truly a workout for your entire being. Whatever we cultivate internally manifests outwardly. There's no sense in toning your physical structure while neglecting your health.

Our brain is positively affected by the three components of Qi practice - mental focus, body
movement and breath. The mind focuses to help us with memory, literally creating new neural pathways in the brain. The body movements, coupled with deep breathing, help the energy flow through unrestricted. This aids in the restoration of internal equilibrium, healthy organ function and increased energy.

This particular program involves teaching 24 Yang forms to the beginner . Included is a Qigong workout which further encourages the flow of chi, fostering both internal and external balance. Infused with mindfulness and exercises you may implement into your own life to enhance your wellbeing on every level. You will need to commit to the full 10 weeks to receive the maximum benefits of this program.
I run twice weekly classes in the 24 Yang form. We maintain a maximum group size of 10 persons per session to ensure each individual receives the instruction they require.
Have a group of people that you particularly wish to train with? Gather your friends and we will come to you. These sessions are available for both tai chi or Qigong. POA
There is no base fitness level necessary for this class. Excellent for all.

This is a 12 week program that is sure to transform you and your business. We mix Qigong and Tai chi together to create a daily practice you can maintain after the training.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese mind/body/spirit practice that can help to restore wellness, build emotional and mental strength while reducing stress. These postures involve deep breathing combined with movement to help enhance vitality, mental clarity, cultivate presence and inner tranquility. Qigong may assist the individual to reconnect with their inner most self, helping to develop confidence, inner harmony and mental acuity. Jump in at any time and feel free to swap around.
A gentle set of exercises that work directly with the meridian systems of the body. These are very gentle but highly effective postures that include deep breathing, light movement, mental focus and self massage. Excellent for any person who wishes to obtain a strong sense of wellbeing without the intensity of a standard workout. Suitable for any fitness level.
Class time: 45 minutes
Based primarily upon Shibashi or the the 18 forms, this practice is fitting for all, involving postures that involve working primarily with the meridian systems of the body as well as massaging and nourishing the internal organs.

Develop your core strength with these internal power activating postures. Superb for developing the thigh and core muscles, you will definitely be working during these sessions. Essential for anyone who surfs and those wanting to mobilise their inner warrior.
