Qigong is an ancient practice whereby we learn to cultivate our lifeforce energy or Qi through movement, breath and meditation. It is often referred to as the art of effortless power. The movements are intended to harmonise the connection between mind, body and spirit, offering a strong sense of holistic wellness to the practitioner.
As we learn to balance our inner energies, clearing out what is no longer needed while replenishing our inner stores, we find that we develop a sense of deep, inner peace and enhanced vitality.
There is no fitness level required to begin. Each person is moving at their own pace, developing a keen sense of their own, natural, internal rhythm. This is important for it allows us to get to know who we are at core level. With this wisdom, we can then begin to create the life that is truly rightful for us.
I infuse my classes with mindfulness, Daoism, Mind Power and Traditional Chinese Medicine. As we learn to understand how our body functions, where we hold old hurts and why, it is easier to release and move on. We learn to become light, free, inspired to create a life truly worthy of us.

I am an accredited Tai Chi Wellness Instructor (Australia Tai Chi Institute), professional freelance writer, wellness advisor and published author. Qigong is an ancient Chinese mind/body/spirit practice that can help to restore wellness, build emotional and mental strength while reducing stress. These postures involve deep breathing combined with movement to help enhance vitality, mental clarity, cultivate presence and inner tranquility. Qigong may assist the individual to reconnect with their inner most self, helping to develop confidence, inner harmony and mental acuity. Jump in at any time and feel free to swap around.
A gentle set of exercises that work directly with the meridian systems of the body. These are very gentle but highly effective postures that include deep breathing, light movement, mental focus and self massage. Excellent for any person who wishes to obtain a strong sense of wellbeing without the intensity of a standard workout. Suitable for any fitness level.

Based primarily upon Shibashi or the the 18 forms, this practice is fitting for all, involving postures that involve working primarily with the meridian systems of the body as well as massaging and nourishing the internal organs.

Develop your core strength with these internal power activating postures. Superb for developing the thigh and core muscles, you will definitely be working during these sessions. Essential for anyone who surfs and those wanting to mobilise their inner warrior.
